A Little About My Background

       In 1975, I went to Alaska and worked on the Alaska Pipeline as a truck driver. When the pipeline was over, I stayed in Alaska and continued to work as truck driver. After 15 years of driving, I retired from the Teamsters Union. For seven years in Fairbanks, Alaska, I also owned and operated Ginger's Glass Works- a stained glass supply store- where I taught classes, and designed custom stained glass windows for residential, commercial, and churches.

       In 1989 I adopted 3 siblings from Bogotá Colombia. The youngest is now 18 and almost out of the nest. I also designed and help build 2 log homes, and a couple of cabins- which was my stepping stone to selling real estate. After 20 years in Alaska, I moved to Montana for three years before my move back home to California. Besides work, which consumes most of my time, I make time for trap shooting, gardening, and going to the gym.

       My new career as a Realtor started in 1996. I became a Broker in 2002, and manager of the RE/MAX Associates La Mesa branch in 2006. Through continuing education, I have also earned the designations of CRS- Certified Residential Specialist. Only 5% of all Realtors in the United States have qualified for this designation. Also the GRI- Graduate Realtor Institute, and SRES- Seniors Real Estate Specialist. I love my job. I give 150% to all of my clients. Education

- College courses to earn my Real Estate Salesperson license in 1997. 

- 5 more college courses to earn my Brokers license in 2002.

- GRI 108 hours of education in numerous real estate topics to earn the GRI designation (Graduate REALTOR® Institute)

- CRS (Council of Residential Specialists) designation. Requires 48 hrs real estate
education w/minimum 75 closed transactions & working as full time agent for 5 yrs.

- SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation.
